Letters of Recommendation

Dear Ms. Ronna,

So, today in my Professional Educator class, I had to do a writing sample. The topic was "The Best Teacher I Ever Had". I wrote about you. :) Thanks for being such a huge inspiration to me. In case my mom hasn't told you, I'm going to school to be a teacher. I'm so blessed to have had you, along with many of the other teachers at Dixie, to show me the way. Thanks for everything you have done for me and for every single student who has even had the privilege of calling you their teacher. I love you! You really are "The Best Teacher I Ever Had"!

Dear Ms. Ronna,

About a week ago my son stated how much he had learned in your class. In fact, more than he had ever learned in a class! It is so reassuring for a parent to hear these types of comments instead of dreading to go to a class because of the boring teacher. I am thankful for a compassionate teacher like you!

Michelle Reeder

P.S. Thank you for loving my child.

Mrs. Ronna teaches my child 2 classes.  I am amazed by what he has learned in her classes.  As a teacher, I know that not all children learn in the same way.  Mrs. Ronna takes this to heart.  Her classes are filled with opportunites for all learning styles.  My son and his friends shocked me by being able to recite the U.S. Presidents in order, thanks to the President's Rap.  The movies that she has selected this year have definitely helped the students better understand key concepts.  Our children do not have a clear understanding of what segregation was like.  The viewing of "Ruby Bridges" helped them to see how much life, especially in the south, has changed.

Mrs. Ronna deeply cares about each one of her students.  She celebrates their achievements and victories.  She listens to their problems and offers heartfelt advice.  I am very proud that my son has her as a teacher this year.  She is an asset to our school and to the teaching profession.
Sincerely,
Sharon Fenn

To Whom it May Concern:

Mrs. Ronna Williams is a very attentive teacher when it comes to her students.  She tries to work with each and every one of them personally.  She makes her classes fun so that the children want to learn.  She taught our oldest son his Sophomore and Junior years.  He missed her tremendously last year (his senior year); but she did visit all the kids last year when she had a chance.  We are so excited to have her back this year.  She currently teaches both of our high school children and they just love her.  Our youngest is a girl and she never wanted to apply herself very much in her studies until this year with Mrs. Ronna.  We thank God everyday for bringing this angel to our family and especially to the Dixie Academy family.
Sincerely,

Jason and Stephannie Hall

Letter of Recommendation
Ronna Williams is, in my opinion, a model teacher! During the years that we have taught together at Dixie Academy, I have learned so much from her: teaching methods, computer skills, ways to deal with students. It was Ronna who taught me to create PowerPoint and later, Keynote presentations to use in my classes. This has revolutionized my way of teaching!
Ronna is known for innovative teaching methods that keep students interested and help them learn. She injects related video clips, music and art into her presentations. According to the students, her classes are definitely not boring. Ronna is also known for her interest in the individual student, making sure that each one understands the material.
Ronna and I have done some collaborative work teaching History and French, and this was very successful. She has also done a workshop for my seniors on getting ready for college and applying for scholarships.
In conclusion, Ronna Williams is an awesome teacher who will be a great asset to any school that is fortunate enough to hire her.

Letter of Recommendation

June 11, 2009

I take great pleasure in recommending Mrs. Ronna Williams. Mrs.Williams has taught at our school for several years. During this time, her record has been impeccable, her knowledge and expertise unquestioned, and her capabilities as a teacher and a leader of youth have been an inspiration to us all. She is respected and literally loved by her students.

Mrs. Williams faced some very serious issues growing up but she overcame all of this and is now using it to relate to her students. Her faith and confidence is an inspiration to the entire school.
 Sincerely,

A  Letter of Recommendation for Ronna Williams:

Ronna joined the online instruction faculty on the internet. She had missed the initial
training sessions and the collaboration that the other online faculty members had been privileged to. However; Ronna used her astute computer skills to gain a full understanding of the software and the variations available to present courses online. Eventually, she was advising others on the techniques she had developed to enhance the content as well as the appearance of ‘her’ CSN courses. Without a doubt some of the best courses on the CSN site are the history classes Ronna has prepared. Ronna was asked to share her knowledge of the various sites and applications of content with her colleagues at the professional development day for the AISA teachers and staff. Her presentation was outstanding and generated interest from all the attendees. In her usual spirit of cooperation she offered to place all her information online to share with those that were interested. Ronna Williams not only is able to offer a course online that has sound content with a motivational presentation; she also is a caring teacher. .
Ronna’s contributions to the AISA CSN program have been’ above the call of duty.’
