We will be out of school on Wednesday. If the boys win, we will get out early on Thursday, so this week, we'll get things done as time allows.

Sociology
We'll discuss the themes in The Outsiders.
We'll interpret the poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost
We'll recite the poem.

Each of these activities will be a grade.
1. Discussion ( Monday)
2. Interpretation (Monday and Tuesday)
2 Recitation (Tuesday)

Please ask your students in advance not to bring up anything to do with the school's financial situation in my classroom.
Our next upcoming Social Issue will be explored through the study of  Simon Birch.

This story deals with the physical differences between students. For example, Simon, is the smallest person in his class, but God has really big plans for him.
