These photos reveal the final phase of every lesson I teach. This is not the fun part, but it is the destination where all my fun activities lead....Assessment.
These students are taking the 78 question Roots Test. By the time students take this test, they will have explored 5 generations of a family and seen the country go through two wars. Students will also be able to explain what it was like to be a slave, a plantation owner or a poor white sharecropper. I stand by my teaching methods and believe students in my classes are learning.
