Project 1 (ALFA Drive Smart)
This project must be 60 seconds or less to qualify for the contest.
Due to the strict time restrictions on this project, no more than 2 students may be in a group together. There will not be too much time for dialogue. You may be most effective if you do your project by yourself. Remember to think outside the box. Be original.

Thought provoking 1 minute presentation which warns about the dangers of texting while driving
Create a you tube channel of your very own for this project (You may need to create a new channel without any offensive language in the name) (Write down all your password information, so you do not forget) Points will be deducted for people who are unable to publish to you tube due to forgotten passwords.
Present your project at designated times for review by the entire class. (Benchmarks are set in STONE. If you are absent on the day of your benchmark review, you must send a copy of your work electronically, or you will receive a zero)
Critique the work of others in a professional manner. (We will discuss collaboration)
• First Place – One IPAD ($600) to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $1,500 to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $1,500 to the school(s) attended by the winning contestant or group of contestants.
• Second Place – One Ipod Touch ($250) to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $1,000 to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $1,000 to the school(s) attended by the winning contestant or group of contestants.
• Third Place – One Ipod Nano ($150) to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $750 to the winning contestant or group of contestants + $750 to the school(s) attended by the winning contestant or group of contestants.
